Sony Interactive Entertainment‘s PlayStation Direct US store is now stocking the PS5 DualSense Galactic Purple controller.
The Galactic Purple DualSense will set you back $74.99, and is accompanied by the following blurb:
Plot a course for astronomical adventures on your PS5™ console with the DualSense™ Galactic Purple wireless controller. Discover a deeper, highly immersive gaming experience that brings the action to life in the palms of your hands.
Other than the colour, it’s pretty much the DualSense as you’d expect, so you get haptic feedback and adaptive triggers in one comfortable-to-hold package.
Sony is planning to release other DualSense colours too, including the Crimson Red and Starlight Blue, which are now available to purchase.

Beyond that, the format holder is also set to release series of official PS5 covers, presumably to combat the slew of unofficial faceplates that have been doing the rounds since late 2020.
