In recent weeks, we’ve seen numerous rumors and speculation that certain Xbox exclusives, such as Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves, will be getting PlayStation and Nintendo Switch releases. Now, Phil Spencer has commented on these rumors, saying we can expect to hear more soon.
“We’re listening and we hear you,” Spencer said in a tweet. “We’ve been planning a business update event for next week, where we look forward to sharing more details with you about our vision for the future of Xbox. Stay tuned.”
Spencer’s comment comes after escalating rumors and speculation caused a frenzy among Xbox fans, with fresh reports from reliable sources suggesting Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle were being considered for PS5. It was also rumored today that Gears of War was another Xbox exclusive set for rival consoles.
