Horizon Forbidden West: The Burning Shores is release today for PS5, although sadly PS4 owners won’t be able to get in on the action. You can read our review of Horizon Forbidden West here.
While it remains to be seen how much more content will be released for Forbidden West, it’s clear that Horizon as a franchise isn’t going anywhere, as a TV series is in the works and a multiplayer spinoff game is reportedly also in development.
While Guerrilla Games hasn’t officially announced the spinoff yet, it would make sense, seeing as how the studio has wanted to include multiplayer elements in the previous Horizon games.
