How To Get Ectoplasm In Type Soul
Ectoplasm is a new item added in the Halloween update, and it is important to get hold of if you want to do some retail therapy in the Halloween Shop! Currently, there are two ways to obtain it. Let’s go through them.
- Ghoulossus Boss
- Defeating this spooky boss will reward you with Ectoplasm. However, he is tricky to face in battle and requires you to summon him using a Ghastly Core. Once you have this item, head to Karakura town to face him.
- Ghosts
- Boo! Sorry, I’m not here to scare you… but these ghosts are! These creatures can be found around the map. After defeating them, they have the chance to drop Ectoplasm or the Ghastly Core. These aren’t too tricky to defeat, but they do call you a noob so… that’s scary enough.
What Is Ectoplasm?
If you’re wondering what Ectoplasm is, let me explain. The most recent Type Soul update introduced a Halloween event filled with spooky creatures and items. Alongside this, there is a new Halloween Shop located in Karakura Town. For every Ectoplasm you obtain, you will get one point to spend.
When visiting the shop, speak to the Mysterious Witch NPC who will turn the Ectoplasm into points and tell you how many you have. The shop stocks a variety of loot, both Halloween-themed and regular.
