The winners of the Pocket Gamer Mobile Games Awards 2024 in association with Gamelight have been revealed.
Hundreds of the industry’s best and brightest gathered at the Gürzenich Köln to celebrate the sector’s finest, from the top games, developers and publishers to the tools, tech, marketers and service providers that make this industry great.
The big winners
Scopely’s Monopoly GO! took home Game of the Year at this year’s show, following its $3 billion+ success over the past year. The People’s Choice Award, meanwhile, went to Whaleapp and Tilting Point’s SpongeBob Adventures: In a Jam.
Scopely also took home the accolade for Best Publisher. The Best Developer award was given to Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse, and Best Indie Developer went to The Battle of Polytopia studio Midjiwan.
The prestigious Mobile Legend award was given to Nazara Technologies founder, CEO and joint MD Nitish Mittersain for his work in building India’s first-ever public games company and supporting the growth of the local industry.
The Rising Star award was presented to King senior engagement manager, new games, Aïda Figuerola.
