The newly-announced PS5 Pro will arrive on the market with 40-50 PS5 Pro Enhanced titles via a patch, according to a new report on the high-end system posted on CNET.

According to the article, PS5 Pro Enhanced will focus on 4K resolution and 60 FPS upgrades on release day, but will also bring a host of other improvements, including new volumetric lighting and effects, a larger amount of background characters, and modes that can support 120 FPS and 8K resolution.
Meanwhile, writing in a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony itself revealed that this feature will carry the PS5 Pro Enhanced label, and supported titles include the likes of Alan Wake 2, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Demon’s Souls, Dragon’s Dogma 2, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, Hogwarts Legacy, Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Crew Motorfest, The First Descendant, The Last of Us Part II Remastered.
The PS5 Pro is pencilled in for a November 7, 2024 release and will retail for $699.99/£699.99.
