With the new Kinect for Xbox 360, you are the controller. There is no longer a need to hold anything in your hand with this new innovation. A great plus with Kinect is it is not necessary to but a new Xbox, Kinect will work with any Xbox.

Kinect allows you to bring the games to life. You are the controller, by the sound of your voice and even a wave of your hand. Kinect has both a motion sensor, skeletal tracking and voice recognition.

The motion sensor is similar to that of sensing a control but in this case the motion sensor senses you and tracks your every move.

Skeletal tracking will keep you in the game. Anytime you move the skeletal tracking will store your info and put you in the game. Kinect will always know who you are by storing your personal data in your own profile. This enables you to join the game again whenever you want and Kinect will know it’s you.

Kinect also has voice recognition, which will recognize your voice enabling you to control the game.

Kinect is easy to use, simply place the sensor centered between your TV anywhere from two to six feet above the ground. Be sure it is secure so it does not move.

You’ll want to be sure you leave yourself enough room to play. It is recommended to stand at least six feet away from the sensor. If you are playing with two players eight feet away is recommended. Be sure there is nothing blocking the sensor.

Start playing by simply waving your hand, speaking or even allowing Kinect to recognize you. When you wave your hand it will move the pointer on the screen allowing you to choose an action. Kinect ID allows the Kinect sensor to sign you into your profile.

Kinect is so easy to use anyone can play, even those with no experience. Simply move your body and you are in the game. Kinect will react to your actions.

Kinect certainly changes the way kids play video games. No more sitting on the couch and playing. Everyone moves to the fun with Kinect. You will hear you kids laughing, singing and even dancing.

Control free playing seems to be the way to go, use your body, hands and voice. Kids all over are having a ball with the new Kinect.
