Natsume has announced that the next instalment of its relaxing, family-friendly franchise, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, will launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One later this year.
Continuing the franchise’s tradition of being a perfect way to spend time with your family, Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos will offer a host of farm animals for us to care for, crops to grow, and wonderful characters to meet. We don’t have a release date for it just yet, but it’ll launch on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One later this year.

Set in the lands of Anthos, the home of the Harvest Sprites, Harvest Moon: The Wind of Anthos takes place ten years after a volcanic eruption caused the Harvest Goddess and her sprites to use their magic to protect the people of Anthos, but in doing so separated the people from each other before falling into a slumber with the hope that the land’s people will one day be reconnected.
In this instalment of the franchise, we’ll find and care for a variety of traditional farm animals, ride a number of different mounts to explore the world, and well as befriend more exotic creatures like Bengal tigers and wolves. Of course, being a farming game, you’ll have a range of crops and flowers to grow, and with the help of the Harvest Wisps, you’ll be able to collect seeds from around the world for rarer plant life. When taking a break from your farm or your adventures, the multicultural hub of Providence Village will give you a chance to meet plenty of new characters.
