But just how much value are you getting for your money with the service? After all, prices went up in August, and Phil Spencer has warned that future price increases are “inevitable”. Well we did the maths, and the value proposition is still looking pretty rosy as we move into 2024.
According to our data, the total value of all the games that were added to Game Pass (at their full price) in 2023 stands at:

The big hitters this year from Microsoft included Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Hi-Fi Rush, and Redfall. Alongside them, we had some massive third-party games joining the service. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, Atomic Heart, Dead Space, Remnant 2 were all big hitters that we were thrilled to see turn up in the service.
We were also spoiled for choice with excellent indie games too. From the puzzling delights of Cocoon to the emotionally-charged cooking escapades of Venba, it’s been a phenomenal year to be playing games on Xbox.
